The Janome ThreadBanger TB12 sewing machine is one, sturdy, power house. It doesn't have tons of decorative stitches and automated features. It is not computerized. Janome ThreadBanger TB12 Stitch Patterns
Two dials on the front of the machine control stitch selection and length adjustment. There are 12 built-in stitches:

Janome ThreadBanger TB12 Features

Thread delivery is vertical, there's a work lamp over the needle arm, and the markings on the needle plate are in both inches and metric.
